Luis Santana

Luis Santana is a dedicated and meticulous Health and Safety Instructor with a proven track record of delivering impactful training across diverse sectors, including construction, retail, public services, and European regulatory bodies.

With a background in Business Administration (BA, University of Hertfordshire) and a strong foundation in safety training certifications—including QQI-accredited Train the Trainer, Manual Handling, Patient Handling, and PHECC First Aid Instruction—Luis combines academic rigour with practical expertise.

A former 1st Lieutenant in the Navy Special Forces, Luis brings discipline, leadership, and precision to every session. His training style emphasises clear communication and participant engagement, fostering a learning environment that promotes retention and real-world application.

Luis is fluent in multiple languages and is known for his organisational skills, presentation ability, and commitment to fostering a safety-first culture that aligns with operational efficiency and staff wellbeing.

In addition to training, Luis brings strong business development experience to the table. Luis successfully held roles as a Business Development Executive and Assistant, responsible for identifying client needs, upselling health and safety training solutions, and achieving both personal and organisational sales targets. Luis’ approach is consultative—focused on building trust, adding value, and aligning safety training with business goals like increased productivity, profitability, and staff morale.

Nick Gleeson
